Exclusive to the company’s law enforcement catalog, the SBR is designed as a lightweight and rugged option for easy maneuverability. Likewise, the rifle boasts features to enhance overall performance and manipulation.
The Smith & Wesson M&P15T SBR
Constructed of aluminum, the M&P15T provides a lightweight platform for easy maneuvering. The lower delivers comfortable handling via the B5 Systems Type 23 pistol grip with stippled side walls. Likewise, the M&P15T is shouldered via the B5 Systems SOPMOD collapsible stock with a QD sling attachment point on each side.
The upper features a full-length Picatinny rail for attaching optics and other accessories. Correspondingly, the 10.5-inch aluminum M-LOK forend features full-length Picatinny along the top and M-LOK slots on the sides. In addition, a 5-slot Picatinny rail sits at the forward portion of the underside for additional accessories. Williams Gun Sight folding sights come already installed.
Housed within the forend is an 11.5-inch steel barrel with Armornite finish, chambered in 5.56 NATO. The barrel features a 1:7-inch 6-groove twist and low-profile gas block, providing increased accuracy. Additionally, the barrel is threaded for attaching a suppressor or other muzzle device and comes with an A2 flash hider installed.
The M&P15T SBR features an ambidextrous Radian Raptor-LTTM charging handle and an ambidextrous safety selector for right- and left-handed shooters. Rounds are sent downrange via the flat-faced trigger and chromed firing pin. Each rifle ships with an included 30-round Magpul magazine.
