A joint venture between Holosun and Primary Arms just led to a prominent distinction in the law enforcement community. The Holosun HS507C-X2, with ACSS Vulcan Reticle, received a silver rating from the National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA). The rating comes after extensive product testing.
Holosun, Primary Arms HS507C-X2 Red Dot Gains NTOA Silver Rating
The NTOA serves as a voice for law enforcement products and equipment, leveraging a network of experienced evaluators. The NTOA tests include weeks of practical assessment, concluding with a final product score. Optics criteria include design, performance, ease of use, size, quality, durability, storage, versatility, convenience, application, comfort, accuracy and cleaning and maintenance. A product must earn a sufficient score across all areas to pass. A silver rating constitutes an average score of 4-4.9 out of 5.
Primary Arms recently submitted the co-branded Holosun HS507C-X2 with ACCS Vulcan reticle. The pistol sight scored a 4.36 overall. Testing officers noted the optic’s speed in target acquisition. They also noted ease of use and durability. One evaluator commented the optic earned a spot on their department’s approved RDS optic list, according to Primary Arms. The department will use it on loaner pistols for tactical training courses.
“Primary Arms developed the ACSS Vulcan reticle for the purpose of uniquely providing unprecedented agility and precision for fast target engagement,” said Terry Mears, Director of Product Marketing at Primary Arms Optics. “The reception for the Vulcan reticle has been strong and the Silver Rating from NTOA supports our mission to provide the professional community with such an innovation.”
The Holosun HS507C-X2 with ACCS Vulcan reticle retails for $309.99. For even more info, please visit primaryarms.com.
