The polymer is reinforced by steel inserts for strength and helps bring the overall weight of this full-sized pistol to a hair under 2 pounds. RRA put a Parkerized finish on the steel slide for corrosion resistance. Drift-adjustable sights are dovetailed into the slide. The 1911 Poly ships with a pair of seven-round magazines and a polymer holster for immediate carry on the range or into the field.

This pistol ships with a 3.5-pound trigger pull. The sights are fully adjustable, and RRA guarantees this 1911 will shoot a 2.5-inch group at 50 yards with Federal match ammunition. Reliability is enhanced by a lowered and flared ejection port, a polished extractor and a polished feed ramp. Built to run, the Basic Limited retains classic 1911 lines and is finished with a lustrous bluing and rich rosewood grip panels. The frontstrap and mainspring housing both have 25-lines-per-inch checkering.

RRA tuned these pistols for ultra reliability thanks to features that include an extended ejector, an enlarged ejection port and a specially tuned extractor. To protect the gun from the elements when carried, the guns have a Parkerized finish. The Carry Pistol is outfitted with top-notch Heinie sights that include a rear sight with a hard edge for single-handed emergency slide manipulations. Even though the gun has a serious purpose, it is ready for the weekend match with an accuracy guarantee of 2.5 inches at 50 yards with match ammunition.

RRA builds these pistols with a forged National Match frame and forged National Match slide. Additional features include the company’s speed trigger, a polished feed ramp and reliability tuning. According to RRA, the NM Hardball is CMP competition legal. A flat mainspring housing is standard, with options available for 20-, 25- and 30-lpi checkering. The pistols are given a beautiful blued finish and are fitted with deluxe walnut grips.
