Self-Defense Demonstration for Women

In Ohio, the Marion Women’s Business Council Inc. will hold a luncheon program that will center on “Self-Defense for Women.” I.M.P.A.C.T. is a person safety, assertiveness and self-defense training program. Brewer will demonstrate self-awareness, home and vehicle safety and techniques tailored to women.

Jeannie Brewer, former aquatic director for the city of Marion, is certified through I.M.P.A.C.T. as an instructor. Brewer was a state trooper with the Ohio Highway Patrol for several years and has worked for the city of Marion for the past 22 years, beginning in the Municipal Court as its first probation officer/community service coordinator.
