Vertx is one of the industry’s go-to names for tactical and outdoor gear and apparel, and our visit to its booth at SHOT Show this year did nothing to dissuade us of that notion. Check it out above.

One of the products we looked at is the Tactigami-compatible, Velcro-lined Vertx Garment Bag, a low profile, two-in-one soft rifle case and functional storage system for apparel, shoes and travel gear. It’s capable of accommodating rifles with an overall length of up to 28 inches. Previously available only in Black, Vertx is now offering this item in more low-key, covert colors for 2017.
Also new this year is Vertx’s Downrange Softshell Jacket, which is comprised of two main components, a shell and a lining. The shell is 86 percent polyester and 14 percent spandex, which helps protect the end user from the elements and allows for greater freedom of movement. The lining is 66 percent polyester and 34 percent 37.5 polyester. The 37.5 polyester absorbs your infrared heat and stores it within the fabric, which helps maintain your body core temperature of 37.5 degrees celsius. This jacket is available in four different colors, Burnt Ash, Slate Gray, Bering Blue and Shadow Gray, at a MSRP of $179.95.
