A Super Bowl party for more than 450 people, including active-duty service members and veterans from Camp Pendleton, successfully raised more than $10,000 for a local Marines support group. The party was hosted by Gary and Julie Crisp of Corona Del Mar, Calif at the American Legion Newport Harbor Post 291 in Newport Beach.
In addition to the game, the all-day event also featured the USC marching band, a gospel choir and cheerleaders from the San Diego Chargers.
All proceeds from the sixth annual Super Bowl party hosted by the Crisp family will benefit the Dana Point 5th Marine Regiment Support Group.
“It is our humble honor to hold this party as a way to recognize and celebrate the service and sacrifice of our military men and women,” said Gary Crisp.
