Over the summer the nationally acclaimed Rape Aggression Defense (R-A-D) Women’s Basic Self-Defense course will be hosted by the Lima Public Library. The self-defense course includes thirteen hours of training held over a span of six Monday evenings, and is offered at no cost to women age thirteen and up.
In exchange for the training- participants are asked to perform a R-A-D Act of Kindness before the end of the Program. Training will be held at the main library in Lima, in the basement auditorium. Selected dates and times are June 2nd and 9th from 5:00pm to 7:30pm,June 9th, 16th, 30th and July 7th and 14th from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
