The Mark I Alpha was popular due to its high-quality construction and feature-rich performance. Now, Primary Weapons Systems offers a limited-edition exclusive recreation of the original with the MK113 Alpha.
Primary Weapons Systems Limited Edition MK113 Alpha
Building on an anodized PWS T6 7075 forged aluminum ambidextrous MK1 MOD 2-M Multi-Caliber Lower, the MK113 Alpha comes chambered in 5.56 NATO. Housing the PWS-enhanced H2 steel body buffer, the enhanced buffer tube includes a ratchet lock castle nut. Likewise, the end plate set includes a built-in QD mount sling attachment point.
Bravo Company provides the furniture with a textured pistol grip and an adjustable buttstock with QD mount. In addition, the lower features ambidextrous controls for right- or left-handed shooters. Rounds are sent downrange via the TiggerTech Duty flat bow, single-stage trigger with a 5.5-pound pull.
Coupled with the lower is the T6 7075 forged, anodized PWS proprietary piston upper receiver. Further enhancing the ambidextrous operation of the MK113 is the Radian Raptor ambidextrous charging handle. A 13.624-inch PWS M-Lok handguard provides ample room for optics and other accessories with a full-length Picatinny rail and surrounding M-Lok slots.
Housed within the handguard is the 13.8-inch 416R stainless steel barrel, pinned and welded to 16 inches. A suppressor-ready compensator helps mitigate felt recoil and muzzle rise for increased accuracy. Likewise, the 1:7 5R barrel twist rate provides enhanced stability for heavy bullets, further increasing accuracy and performance.
The MK113 Alpha operates on a PWS long stroke piston system with 3 setting adjustable gas system. Offering convenient access for fast adjustments, the gas adjustment knob is positioned in front of the rail. As a result, adjustments can be made without the need for an adjustment tool.
The MK113 is a limited run of 250 rifles, with an included certificate of authenticity and a unique challenge coin. Additionally, each rifle ships with a soft case in OD Green, Obsidian Black, or SW Gray. But supplies are going fast, so you better get yours while the getting is good.
