Tactical Fire Control, a new company, is poised to take the firearms industry by storm. Its product, the Tac-Con rapid fire trigger, provides a secondary option for firing in semi-auto. In the upcoming February 2014 issue of Special Weapons for Military & Police, author David Bahde tests the drop-in trigger unit and gives you more information.
Bahde writes, “Using a proprietary safety that activates in the third position (full-auto or burst on a select-fire AR) the Tac-Con trigger from Tactical Fire Control provides something new: a choice. When the selector is in the standard semi-automatic position, the Tac-Con offers a high-quality, 4.5-pound, single-stage trigger pull. Move the selector one more position and you get a very short reset at the same weight. There are no adjustments to work loose. Dropping into any properly specified AR lower receiver, it is not an NFA device, eliminating the need for BATFE transfers and paperwork.”
