Now here’s an update likely to really hit home with military-inspired gun enthusiasts. Or really just anyone that appreciates an awesome looking blaster. Patriot Ordnance Factory just added an OD Green Cerakote option to three different lines. The POF Rouge, P415 and Renegade jump to the front of the line for the new offerings.
The new Cerakote finishes bump POF variants up to eight different color options. The new olive drab finish gives that old school military feel. But this is a high-end production, all POF in the firepower department.
“OD green has been a long-requested cerakote color option and we are happy to offer it as a new option to our customer base” stated Jeremy Selting, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, POF-USA. “The feedback on the new color (olive drab green) has been very positive and we have had to adjust our build plan to accommodate for the demand” continued Selting.

POF Rogue Debuts as Lightest .308 Rifle & Pistol
Patriot Ordnance Factory recently announced the release of its newest .308 rifle and pistol, the Rouge. Dubbed the “Evolution of the Revolution,” the POF Rogue builds on the phenomenal success of the Revolution line of .308s. Boasting the size of an AR-15, the resulting Rogue .308 rifle weighs less than six pounds.
POF Rogue Details
The Rouge comes either as a full-size carbine utilizing a 16.5-inch barrel, or in pistol form with a 12.5-inch barrel. The carbine weighs just 5.9 pounds, while the pistol weighs a mere 5.7 pounds. These weights come in nearly a full pound lighter than the previous Revolution DI.
“These extreme weight savings were accomplished without needless lightening cuts commonly seen as weight saving measures” says POF founder Frank DeSomma, “and by using forged receivers, we’ve also cut the price significantly compared to our Revolution models.”
The Rogue boats some extremely useful features and innovations commonly seen from POF. These include many parts interchangeable with the AR-15 platform, including buffer, bolt carrier, charging handle and barrel nut. The Rogue features an ambidextrous QD endplate, ambidextrous selector, Renegade handguard and heat sink barrel nut, and match grade stainless steel barrel with a single-port Micro-B muzzle brake.
