NBA basketball team the Oklahoma City Thunder have announced plans to hold their sixth annual Military Appreciation Night this coming Monday, when the Oklahoma squad will face off against the Atlanta Hawks at Chesapeake Energy Arena.
The evening will honor service members and veterans through a special Thunder Cares auction and raffle, as well as in-game recognition of military personnel, an exclusive t-shirt offer and more.
Due to the generosity of Thunder season ticket holders giving away their tickets to the game, more than 900 military personnel and families are scheduled to attend Military Appreciation Night. Additionally, 75 children of military personnel will attend the game through the player-donated Tickets for Kids program.
The game starts at 7 p.m. at Chesapeake Energy Arena on Monday, January 27.
