I Reno, Nevada a local martial arts school taught residents how to defend themselves.
A free self-defense seminar was hosted by Aikido of Reno, all to help educate the community on how to be safe. Teens and adults got first-rate tips from sixth-degree black belt Vince Salvatore. The goal of the seminar was to provide people with no martial arts or self-defense experience with viable tools to protect themselves from harm and escape to safety.
“We’ve seen results over the years, that if they are able to follow the directions and be confident, there’s a good chance they’ll be able to protect themselves and get out of harm’s way. It’s not a competition, it’s not a sporting event, it’s really how to stay safe.”
