EOTech and Black Rain Ordnance partnered up for a really cool optic, just in time to get your July 4th on. The EOTech XPS2 Betsy Ross comprises a limited-edition optic featuring a Cerakote finish in all its patriotic glory.
EOTech XPS2 Betsy Ross Details
Made in America, the Betsy Ross XPS2 features a custom Cerakote aluminum hood adorned with the U.S. flag’s red and white stripes with the circular pattern of 13 stars representing the original 13 colonies. The Cerakote provides a durable, corrosion- and wear-resistant finish.
The optic measures 3.8 inches long and weighs in a 9 ounces. It comprises the lightest and shortest HWS in the EOTech inventory. The XPS2 runs on a single CR123 battery, and the unit leaves room for iron sights or a magnifier.
“Black Rain Ordnance is a leader in quality firearms and the Cerakote process, so it just made sense to partner with them” said Mark Cockman, Vice President of Sales for EOTECH. “We wanted to do something special and unique to bring in Summer in a patriotic way.”
The Betsy Ross XPS2 reticle provides a 68 MOA ring with a 1 MOA aiming dot for fast target acquisition. The reticle focuses at the same plane as the target, which makes this system inherently fast. The unit also comes with a waterproof housing and 20 daylight brightness settings.

On March 15, 2021, Tactical Life reported:
To help combat the contemporary anti-police narrative and culture, EOTech pledged its support to law enforcement recently. The EOTech XPS2 Holographic Weapon Sight kicks off the company’s “Back the Blue Initiative.”
EOTech XPS2 Thin Blue Line
We’ve always been fans of EOTech. The EOTech 512 is one of our favorite optics … period. The new XPS2 HWS features a “Thin Blue Line Flag” logo. The popular weapon light really stands out with the new logo. Better still, EOTech will donate 25-percent of the gross sale of each optic to law enforcement charities.
“We are very passionate about our support and appreciation for our country’s law enforcement,” said Lisa Kemp, Director of Marketing. “Many of our staff are former law enforcement professionals, and like most of America, we refuse to accept the current narrative demonizing the police. Through this program, we hope Americans vote with their wallets to support our law enforcement professionals.”
Additionally, EOTech also launched a full line of soft good and gear to support the initiative. Blue Line products include t-shirts, mugs, hats and more. And just like the XPS2, 25-percent goes to support Veteran and LE charities, including Tunnel to Towers, Spirit of Blue and Mission 22.
The Thin Blue Line XPS2 HWS features the quick-acquisition 68 MOA ring. It comes with a 1 MOA dot to deliver incredible speed and accuracy. A CR123 lithium battery powers the unit. Taking up little rail space, the optic remains well suited for professional use.
The EOTech XPS2 retails for $589. But with money headed to support support LE charities, its money even more well spent. For even more info, please visit eotechinc.com.
