It’s essentially a given at this point that whenever a new gun hits shelves, DeSantis Gunhide will be waiting in the wings with new holsters to accommodate it. True to form, the New York-based company has announced no less than 10 different holster fits for the recently-unveiled Springfield XDE pistol in .45 ACP.
The latest Springfield XDE hammer-fired DA/SA single-stack pistol sports a 3.3-inch hammer-forged Melonite treated barrel with a 1:16 twist; one-inch-wide polymer frame; easily rackable slide; external hammer; DA/SA trigger; ambi thumb safety decocker/mag release; anti-slip grip texturing; fiber optic front sight and white-dot rear; and a dual recoil spring system managed by a full-length guide rod.
