Many concealed carry permit applicants have been taking courses to attain their permits, therein lies the big concern of personal safety. Their next step: choosing the right firearm. Experts say it’s important to find the right one to keep you and others around you safe.
Sherri Hinkel is one of the many current students at 88 Tactical there to take classes and get her concealed carry weapon permit. She said, “I’m a real estate agent and a nurse and so there are times I’m out in places by myself that probably aren’t the safest situations.”
She’s been around guns all her life but says she can understand why someone new at it may need some guidance in choosing the right one.
