With a 3-inch blade and an overall length of 7 inches, the Camillus EDC3 was designed for strength, durability and ease of use. As the press release points out, this knife is made of Carbonitride Titanium — one of the hardest surface treatments containing titanium, which protects the blade surface against wear, staining, and damage — and AUS-8 Japanese stainless steel, which offers edge sharpness and corrosion resistance.
The Camillus EDC3 also has a belt clip, liner lock, and dual thumb studs which enable the user to easily open the knife in the field using their right or left hand. In addition, the drop-point, partially serrated blade is suitable for a number of different situations, including cutting through thick materials such as rope or carpet, as well as making fine cuts in soft woods, dress animals, and use in a variety of day-to-day tasks.
