Starting May 15, the Massachusetts-based Cambridge Police Department will host a series of self-defense classes for women.
The self-defense classes are being offered for free “to any female Cambridge resident or woman that works in the city,” according to Cambridge.WickedLocal.com.
The classes will be held on Thursday, May 15, Sunday, May 25, Thursday, May 29, and Thursday, June 5.
The classes will begin promptly at 6 p.m. and run until 8:30 p.m. at the Baldwin School Gymnasium located at 28 Sacramento St., in Cambridge.
Women interested in participating in the course should contact the Cambridge Police Department’s Community Relations Unit at 617-349-3236. Space is limited.
